To reduce the risk of theft, MV Marine has developed a passive protection system; during the lamination of the fiberglass, microchips are embedded with the boat's serial number.

The construction process of MV marine's boats, allow for a 93% reduction in volatile organic compound (V.O.C.) emissions into the atmosphere and an 80% reduction in cutting dust.
Comparing the MV Mito 31 with other boats in the same segment, built using traditional methods, shows a weight difference of about 30%. When cruising at a cruising speed of 35 knots, only 65 liters/hour of fuel is needed, significantly reducing fuel consumption and CO 2 emissions by 25 percent.
These results are the result of the efficiency of the hulls, which are thoroughly tested for resistance to motion. In sea trials, actual speeds at various engine speeds are revealed, which are needed to calculate the regression. From the difference between the theoretical speed and the actual speed, the regress is obtained.
The lower the regress, the lower the resistance to motion of the boat, resulting in lower fuel consumption at cruising speed and higher top speed at high speeds.
